ReplyDeleteThis story makes me wonder, I understand freon prices can be different all over the country, but where I live one wholesale supply company currently has R-22 on sale for $18 a lb-and some heating and cooling companies are adjusting prices charged to consumers accordingly-of course some aren't though. So I almost have to wonder how many upper level government officials have stocks/ownership in companies that would benefit from the "reported high costs" and "low supplies" of R-22. I don't usually see "conspiracy" theories, but it's hard not to here. I can't see a wholesale supply company actually having a sale on it if it is in low demand.
